New Mazda CX-7

The Mazda stand at next month’s Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) will exhibit the new Mazda CX-7, featuring Mazda’s new ‘family face’ as seen on Mazda6 and Mazda3. Also offering a bolder stance, the new Mazda CX-7 is powered by a high-output diesel engine.

The Mazda CX-7 SUV facelift has a next-generation MZR-CD 2.2-litre turbo diesel including a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system delivering a 400 Nm of torque to the road using Active Torque-Split All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system and joins the already well-known, high performance 2.3 litre DISI Turbo petrol engine in the line-up.

The Mazda CX-7 facelift engine line-up retains the acclaimed inline four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve 2.3-litre DISI Turbo petrol. It produces high maximum output of 191kW/260 PS at 5,500 rpm and 380 Nm of maximum torque at 3,000 rpm.
